Kampfar stand as one of Norway’s most enduring and authentic black metal forces, rooted deeply in Nordic folklore, darkness, and ritual intensity. Since their formation in the mid-90s, the band have forged a raw yet commanding sound that bridges old-school ferocity with epic atmosphere and pagan spirit.
In 2026, Kampfar return to Cosmic Void Festival following their powerful co-headline performance in 2022, once again summoning the Void with a set steeped in frostbitten aggression and ancestral fire. A homecoming forged in shadow.
